Getting Around

Use your Travelcard to explore our amazing Capital city.

What you get with your Travelcard
Unlimited travel on London's Buses, Underground Trains, National Rail Trains, Docklands Light Rail and Tramlink, for the dates and duration you require. Travelcard holders also receive a 1/3 discount on Riverboat services.

Travelcard restrictions
1 & 3 day Travelcards are valid for use from 9:30am until 04:00am the following morning.

7 day Travelcards incur no restrictions. They are valid for use on consecutive calendar days as requested, and expire at 04:00 am the morning following expiry date.

Access to and from Airports
You may use your Travelcard from Heathrow and London City Airports.
If you are flying into Heathrow, you will be able to use your Travelcard straight away on the Underground. If you are flying into London City Airport, you will be able to use your Travelcard to board bus services, which connect with Underground and DLR services.

As the following airports are outside of Zone 6, you will be required to pay for some or all of your journey into central London, depending on which service
you use.
Gatwick Airport
Stansted Airport
Luton Airport


Express trains, not covered by your Travelcard, operate from Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted Airports. For further information on timetables and ticketing, please visit:
